It's nice to know that I'm still in someone's thoughts.
Change. That's what I've been doing. New job, new apartment, new vehicle. And it's mostly good! I was without internet for a long time. And then there was a period where I was almost homeless. But now things are looking much much better. Plus I'm doing commissions again!!! Portrait work mostly, but I've started doing pet portraits. Turns out there's a big market for it in my town. Lots of rich folks who want drawings of their animals. Go figure.
And how about you? Tell me about your magic?!

Change is good! I'm glad you were able to find your way through the dark patch you were facing! And I'm doubly glad that you're back to doing commissions! It does my heart good to see old friends succeeding.

Last time we spoke, I had *just* turned in my notice at my job to dive into the wide world of freelancing. It was a fantastic and brave leap -- by far one of the craziest things I have ever done -- and it was glorious and amazing and HORRIBLE and I would do it again and again if given the option!
2016 was a rough year for me too, but like you, I stuck it out. And now, I have not only fully embraced my Whimsical nature (and also *just* moved my store from Etsy to BigCartel), but I can happily report that I write for tabletop RPGs. And I'm good at it -- if I can take a moment to preen.
I'm glad you're back! Lemme know if you ever want to team up for art buddies or anything.
