Here it is in color! Ok, so this took me about 5 hours to complete... at least 5 hours. Probably more.
I had to get used to this new Bamboo drawing tablet thingie. It just doesn't handle the same way my old Intuous did... but I can't afford a new Intuous.
So this is what I ended up with!
If the coloring style doesn't look impressive then at least the fact that it's finished might impress someone.
All the colors are free handed in Photoshop. The lines were all done on paper. The only extra gadgets I used was straight lines for the border and a gradient for the background. Everything else is good old brush tool!
Thank you so much, Jason! It's awesome, I totally and absolutly love it!!! It's impressive and perfect, I like the way it turned out. The shading is very well done and you even can see the texture of their clothes, the shinings on the metal parts of their armour! You didn't lost your great feeling for details even though you said the last time of your is done a while ago! Thank you so much!!! .oO(POSTER TIME!!!)

I was a little worried about a few spots. This new tablet that I'm using isn't quite what I'm used to... but I'm getting the hang of it.
I was also concerned that the figures would bleed together too much. Or that there wouldn't be enough separation to show depth. But it turned out ok I think in the end.

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
