Tentacles

This is something I did the other night for my girlfriend. We were in the grocery store, and for some reason they had a big crate of stuffed animals near the deli department. One of those animals was an octopus. Well, my girlfriend fell in love with it (I ended up buying it for her) and it inspired me to make this little statue

I used Sculpy to make it, and the whole thing took me about 2 and a half hours. It stands about 5-6 inches tall. It was sort of an experiment with Sculpy, because I'm not very experienced with that material. But I think it turned out ok.

My girlfriend already started painting it (the flesh tones on the figure are from her), and I'll post another picture of it once she is finished with the paints. I'm sure she will make it look amazing.
